Leigh Wood

Leigh is a Conveyancer at Carr Legal Group with more than 25 years of experience in the legal industry. She is a Justice of the Peace and is currently studying to become a Licensed Conveyancer.

Leigh began her career as a receptionist before progressing into legal support roles across a range of practice areas, including wills and estates, general legal matters, commercial law and conveyancing. Over the years, she has developed extensive experience assisting clients with residential, strata, commercial and rural property transactions, as well as leases and the purchase and sale of businesses.

At Carr Legal Group, Leigh manages the day-to-day running of the conveyancing practice and works closely with clients through every stage of their property transaction, from the initial stages through to settlement.

Leigh particularly enjoys helping first home buyers navigate the process of purchasing their first property and takes pride in guiding clients through what is often one of the most significant milestones in their lives.

Originally from Quirindi, Leigh spent time living in Newcastle and Sydney before returning to the region and eventually settling in Tamworth more than two decades ago. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a keen music fan, having attended more than 60 concerts ranging from Janet Jackson and Ed Sheeran to AC/DC.
